2024 Women in Medicine Luncheon

On Friday August 23rd the Lafayette Parish Medical Society held their annual Women in Medicine Luncheon. The event was held at Ruffinos’s on the River. Karen Wyble, DNP, MSN, MHA, MBA, RN, with Ochsner was our incredible speaker. Her topic was “Avatars of Hope”, discussing health disparities of women in medicine over generations. This was a very well attended event where female physicians in the Lafayette community can network, learn and support one another. LPMS is grateful for the generous sponsors for this event.
