Our Mission Statement

The Lafayette Parish Medical Society is a service organization of physicians dedicated to the ideal of a community that is mutually beneficial to physicians and their patients.  The society commits itself to these goals:
  • The pursuit and maintenance of accessible quality medical care

  • The promotion of public education on health care issues

  • Representation of member physicians and assistance in the practice of medicine
