Year End Meeting a Mazen Grill November 18, 2021

Lafayette Parish Medical Society was thrilled to be able to safely gather again for our Year End meeting and Social. The dinner was held a Mazen Grill on November 18, 2021. New 2022 officers were elected.

Members enjoyed reconnecting and networking with old and new friends and colleagues. This event was sponsored by LAMMICO. We look forward to meeting again in 2022!

2019 Doctor's Day Celebration | March 30, 2019

On Saturday, March 30th, LPMS held their annual Dr.’s Day celebration at Fezzo’s Restaurant. This year 22 physicians were celebrated for their 40-60 years of service to the Lafayette Medical Community. The crawfish were delicious as always. There were games, balloon animals and a fun jump for the kids. It was a wonderful day of community!

House of Delegates 2019

The Lafayette Parish Medical Society represented Lafayette Parish at the House of Delegates Meeting in Lake Charles on January 25th and 26th, 2019. The House of Delegates is the Louisiana State Medical Society policymaking body and is the foundation of organized medicine in Louisiana. It's a democratic forum that represents the views and interests of a diverse group of member physicians and medical students who come together to establish broad policy on health, medical, professional and governance matters.
